Strength training (and heavy metal) got Wes through some hard times in his youth; it was a healthy escape. Learning about training and the process of stressing the system to elicit an adaptation became fascinating to him, both in text and in living color. He has seen how training can translate beyond the gym to help folks become more confident and kick more ass. Wes has been coaching and education others for over a decade. He Attended Penn State University for Kinesiology with an emphasis in fitness studies and carries several professional certifications. Along with bringing joy to others, Wes believes in meeting people where they are so they are confident in their ability to execute exercises with correct technique and intention. Not every workout is going to be a Rocky montage and that's ok. Sometimes it’s about checking the box; sometimes it's about smashing the box – but the biggest thing is to keep showing up.

I watch the Real Housewives (mostly New York, New Jersey, Salt Lake City and Orange County).
