About Leila Palizi

Leila started practicing yoga in 2017 while living in Indianapolis and searching for connection and hobbies outside of her 9-5 job. After moving to Chicago, she completed her teacher training in 2019 and dove in headfirst to teaching Yoga and Yoga Sculpt classes. Never one to sit still for too long, outside of teaching you can find her exploring the city, trying new group fitness classes, or at her day job in corporate communications. Leila aims to create an inclusive yet mindfully challenging class environment where you can let go of the outside world and find meditation through movement.

Q: What can we expect on your class playlist?

Truly a hybrid of everything. I love leveraging the power of music to help set the mood and energy in class, so you'll hear pop, alternative, electronica, deep house, indie, R&B, hip-hop, and more! I'm also a big fan of movie soundtracks and throwbacks.

Q: What is your favorite "secret" Chicago retreat?

Fulton River Park on Kinzie and Desplaines for the beautiful city views, cute dogs, and the smell of chocolate wafting through the air.

Q: What is your guilty pleasure?

Boxed mac and cheese. I honestly prefer it to homemade!
