Jimena is from El Paso, TX, the border city of Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. She grew up dancing competitively for 13 years and got into fitness when she was 18. She started exploring different ways to move her body, still using her awareness, dedication and discipline from her dance background. She then found a passion to express the importance of movement and testing one's limitations. She believes that her hardships and success in dance have brought her to where she is today. She decided to continue her passion for movement and continued her education in health and fitness with a Bachelor in Exercise and Sports Science. S3 captured her heart the moment she walked in. When she steps into that room, her goal is for everyone to feel safe and confident with their movement and strength. Embracing and challenging yourself in a moment of discomfort is something that shifted Jimena's perspective in health, fitness, and wellness.
