With over 15 years in the fitness industry, Gui’s journey has spanned everything from gritty neighborhood boxing gyms to high-energy corporate studios, always driven by a deep passion for movement and community. He has experienced fitness from every angle—whether it’s the early, intimidating stages of getting started or the relentless grind of chasing big goals like marathons or Ironman races.
Because he understands both ends of the fitness spectrum, Gui meets clients exactly where they are. Whether the goal is to push past limits or simply feel more at ease in a training environment, he provides guidance every step of the way. His approach? A mix of sweat, challenge, and fun, always delivered with a healthy dose of sarcasm and lightheartedness.
For Gui, fitness is about more than just physical strength—it’s about building confidence, community, and a better version of oneself. With his coaching, clients laugh, work hard, and sometimes get a little uncomfortable, but the ultimate goal is always to help them feel stronger and more capable in and out of the studio. And as he always says, “Don’t take life too seriously.”
Q: What’s your favorite hobby outside of fitness?
Anything and everything motorcycle-related—café racers, big Harley-Davidsons… if it’s got an engine and combustion, I’m in.
Q: What’s your favorite way to decompress?
I’ve got plenty of ways, but my favorite has to be turning on my DJ decks and playing music at home—while my wife and two dogs enjoy it (or at least I like to believe they do).
Q: What can your students expect on your class playlist?
They can expect to hear songs they recognize—but not the kind you’ll find on the average airwaves. That’s one of the many reasons they keep coming back
