Teaching Philosophy:
I teach from a place of joy and freedom, always aiming to share the practices that have brought me both. Inspired by the expressive nature of vinyasa, I create space for students to explore movement in a way that honors their individuality. With a style that is lighthearted and unexpected, I blend a range of techniques into creative flows that challenge and uplift, encouraging students to stretch past what they thought possible.
I guide students to deepen their awareness of body and breath—celebrating the nuances, the detours, the discoveries along the way. This is where conscious movement meets creative exploration. Yoga should be liberating, not limiting.
Motivation to be part of YTT:
As one of the founding yoga teachers at Studio Three, I’ve witnessed the studio’s growth and transformation from its inception. While I don’t teach publicly, I’ve remained connected to its evolution. When the opportunity arose to create this teacher training, I felt an undeniable call to share my perspective and the transformative power of yoga.
This program was born from a desire to elevate yoga education. This training is about more than poses and sequences. It’s about honoring the individuality of movement and recognizing that there’s no one “correct” way to shape a pose or flow between them. Yoga education is both a responsibility and a gift: a chance to carry forward timeless knowledge while nurturing yoga’s evolution in today’s fitness and wellness spaces.
Other Skills I Bring to Your Training:
As the former managing partner of a yoga studio, I bring a rare combination of entrepreneurial drive, visionary leadership, and deep-rooted expertise in yoga education. I’ve built and led three nationally accredited yoga schools, creating immersive teacher trainings and continuing education programs that go beyond instruction—they empower transformation. I bring a dynamic blend of tradition, innovation, and lived experience to every teacher training I lead. My work bridges ancient yogic wisdom with real-world application, making the practice not only accessible but deeply meaningful across diverse settings and communities. Whether it's integrating yoga into school curriculums, athletic programs, or designing adaptive approaches for individuals with special abilities, I specialize in crafting inclusive experiences that resonate with all bodies and backgrounds.
As a mentor, I guide yoga students as they evolve into confident, impactful teachers. I lead transformative adventure retreats that foster connection with a global yoga community. I offer one-on-one yoga therapy sessions that specialize in relieving pain and improving function for a wide range of conditions.
My teaching is enriched by years of study in yoga therapy, kundalini, restorative, and yin, and my training as an acupuncture detox specialist adds a unique layer of depth. I help students connect to their energy through embodied breathwork, meditation, and subtle energetic practices, offering tools that empower both the self and others. In every space I hold, I aim to inspire curiosity and share the essence of yoga as both a practice and a way of life.
