Teaching Philosophy:

My teaching philosophy is rooted in connection—to your body, your breath, and the way you move. There are so many areas of life where we slip into autopilot and go through the motions, so I strive to create a space where you can truly connect with yourself and your movement.

It’s not about rushing through the work or always reaching for the heaviest weight, but about allowing yourself to be present enough to feel what’s actually happening in your body and to build on that awareness and strength over time. So when those challenging moments come (because they always do!), you have the confidence to move through them.

My goal is for you to always leave class feeling stronger, more connected, and more confident—not just in your movement, but in your ability to trust your body and show up for yourself, both on and off the mat.

Motivation to be part of YTT:

Leading a teacher training is something I’ve dreamed of since the beginning of my journey in fitness. I’ve always felt called to support and guide others, so having the opportunity to do that within a community that has given me so much—and through a modality that’s changed my life—feels like a very full circle moment!

I'll never forget the instructors who supported me and helped me find my voice as a teacher, so being in a position to give that back—guiding, encouraging, and witnessing the growth of those stepping into teaching for the first time or exploring a new way to move—is incredibly meaningful and something I'm so excited to be a part of!

Other Skills I Bring to Your Training:

My path to full-time fitness hasn’t been linear. I spent a decade in the corporate world before transitioning into teaching full time so I understand what it’s like to balance responsibilities while feeling pulled toward something more, and how different that journey can look for each person.

I also bring experience across a variety of formats, along with an understanding of how skills from other areas—whether past careers or different movement practices—can translate into teaching and help you find your voice as an instructor.
