About Zacharias Niedzwiecki
Zacharias Niedzwiecki, started his journey into fitness over six years ago when first starting college as an aspiring performer. While going about his day as a Chicago-based Opera singer, Yoga was the perfect complement to singing opera, but it quickly morphed from just an aid into a career. After moving to Chicago to start performing professionally and getting a 200 hour teacher certification, Zacharias is now teaching both yoga and his newest obsession, cycling, at Studio Three. Keep an eye out for him around the studio and hop into one of Zacharias’ classes.
Q: What is your favorite non-fitness activity?
I was raised in northern Michigan on the lake, the outdoors became an integral part of my life. When ever I can, I go hiking in either the forests and sand dunes of home, or go back to Panama where I lived for a while and get back into the jungles.
Q: What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I am a professional opera singer. I moved to Chicago for a two year contract and I stumbled upon another passion of mine for the fitness industry!
Q: What is your favorite way to decompress?
When I'm able to decompress I always do so by taking a walk down to the lake no matter the season. The great expanse of the lake puts all my troubles and stresses to the way side. It gives me perspective of how lucky I am to be able to do what I love and live in such an incredible city.
