Melissa's passion for fitness started when she was in her first dance class at two years old. Classically trained in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, hip hop, and lyrical, Melissa's dance and sports career evolved over the years; working her way up to an All-Star Cheerleader and Dancer, where she holds national titles. Coming from an athletic background, fitness has always been a love and priority for Melissa. When she started college at the University of Dayton (UD), it was not a surprise that she joined aerobics club (yes, that was a thing!) Little did she know, aerobics club was the key to starting her fitness career. UD's aerobics club was in need for instructors, so Melissa became certified and started teaching. After graduating from UD in 2008, Melissa moved to Chicago with her husband. It wasn’t long before she was back on the bike. What to expect from Melissa's class - a killer playlist that will encourage you to push it beyond your limit. "I want my participants to get lost in the music, and then wow themselves with the strength that comes in letting go. It is my goal to help my participants get comfortable with being uncomfortable."Melissa is also a Success Manager at Sprinklr. In her spare time you'll find Melissa out and about Chicago with her husband, Mike, and two pups, Rudy and Peponi, "Pep". She also loves to travel!
