About Charlotte Hancock
Charlotte Hancock first got introduced to yoga as a young child, from her yoga-practicing mother, but she really fell into a regular practice during her college days. As a busy, New York City, student who was also working full time, she discovered yoga as a way to manage stress, boost energy, and keep herself healthy. Upon graduating Marymount Manhattan College in 2015, Charlotte moved to Chicago and started a career in marketing where she decided she wanted to go deeper in her practice. Charlotte enrolled in yoga teacher training through Yeah Yoga and completed her 200-hour in 2016. After training, everything changed for Charlotte and teaching became her true passion. Eventually she left her job in marketing to focus all her attention towards assisting others on their journey of wellness, health, and mindfulness. Charlotte’s classes focus on dynamic breath to movement flows that are both mindful and challenging. Expect to flow creatively to a curated playlist, leaving refreshed and balanced.
Q: What is your guilty pleasure?
I LOVE vegan chocolate chips cookies. I'm known to make my speciality ones on a weekly basis and my roommates do not complain!
Q: What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I'm somewhat crafty. I love to embroider little pieces to give to friends and family. These do consist mostly of plants and cats.
Q: What song gets you hyped & keeps you motivated?
This is super cheesy, but probably 'You Make My Dreams' by Hall & Oats - I can't help but grin when I listen to it!
